Well, maybe not the /dead/, but i AM back from vacation! A few days in Door County, Wisconsin goes a long way.

The day before we left for vacation, I went to my first Cubs night game, which I throughly enjoyed. They played the Reds and won!!

Anyway, for people who know nothing about Door County, it's a peninsula that goes into Lake Michigan. It's full of trees and bugs, and it's a five hour drive to there from my home in illinois. :/ So not too terrible.

We did a load of stuff, though, Like on thursday we went biking! And let me tell you, I do NOT bike often. But I /thought/ this would be fun. Boy, was I wrong. The whole place we biked in was nothin but hills, and going down one of them, my feet flew off of the pedals and I basically crashed on the side of the road! It was not a fun time. We biked like five miles to this spider infested pebble beach, in which I sat and drank water, then screamed and ran when I saw a spider (i have a phobia!!). Then we went to this strange lookout poin where we had to climb a bajillion stairs. Not fun. I only wanted to go to this ostritch farm and see some animals, because I'd never seen an ostrtch in person. Sowe biked about five MORE miles trying to find the stupid ostriches, and when we did, it wasn't all that great because I was afraid of them pecking me and the llama spitting at me. :/

The rest of the trip was a good time. I got to go to the top of a lighthouse, which was really cool! I put up some pictures later.

So, that was my fun week. In other news, I'm getting braces friday after next! I don't badly need them or anything, but a few of my teeth are slightly turned in, and my mom is afraid of it getting worse. :/ I'll only have 'em for about a year, so it's not that bad.
